A Trio Of New Valve Pedals From Blackstar Dept. 10 Pedals
New from Blackstar Amplification, Dept. 10 pedals fit advanced valve technology into compact, pedalboard-friendly chassis capable of generating the same organic dynamics, tone, and authentic valve break-up as their popular amplifiers. Powered by ECC83 triodes running at more than 200 volts, this revolutionary series is as versatile as it is innovative, designed to give contemporary players the flexibility they demand with the reliability of the world’s most advanced valve technology.
The two-channel Blackstar Dept. 10 Dual Drive Pedal is the Swiss Army knife of drive pedals. Players can use it as a conventional tube overdrive, preamp, audio interface, or desktop guitar amp with a built-in Cab Rig simulator for authentic mic and cab modeling.
The Blackstar Dept. 10 Dual Distortion Pedal functions similarly, offering two independent channels, three distinct voices, and the same varied application as the Dual Drive.
The Blackstar Dept. 10 Boost Pedal takes the technology in another direction, combining a Class A gain stage with a passive James-Baxandall EQ for an ultra-hot, high-voltage tone with a natural sound.
For all the action of a valve amplifier, the solution is simple — and small. Preorder your Blackstar Dept. 10 Dual Drive Pedal, Dual Distortion Pedal, or Boost Pedal today!
