The specs of the Fender Nocaster bridge pickup transitioned from the 43awg wire of the Broadcaster bridge pickup to 42awg plain enamel wire for the Nocaster bridge pickup. This change was to become the standard wire for all vintage specs Fender Telecaster pickups to the present day. While retaining the high turn count of Fender Broadcaster pickups that used 43 awg plain enamel wire, Nocaster pickups retained much of the power of the Broadcaster bridge pickup while gaining the articulation that 42 awg provides. This simple change in wire specification combined with the same A3 magnets of the Broadcaster and Fender lap steel pickups result in one of the most powerful and dynamic pickups ever produced for a Telecaster body style guitar, the ThroBak Nocaster - A3 Classic pickups.
