Finish Details: Original cherry finish. The redness of the cherry has dulled with time but is still visible under the pickguard and tremolo.
Body Material: Maple
Neck Material: Mahogany
Fingerboard Material: Ebony

Fingerboard Radius: 12.00"
Nut Width: 1-11/16"
Scale Length: 24 3/4"
Electronics: Original Gibson "Patent Applied For" sticker humbuckers with a three-position switch, two volume pots, and two tone pots. The pot covers have been removed and are included in the case. A few solder joints have been touched up but all original components are original with the bridge volume pot displaying 1962 dates. This instrument is wired for stereo and requires the correct cable for proper function.
Pickup Measurements: N/A due to schematic

Weight: 8lbs 9oz
Modifications/Repairs: -Pot covers have been removed and are included in the case. -Around the strap button under the tremolo's mounting bracket, there are two extra screw holes. Although the currently installed tremolo is original, it appears to have been removed at some point and based off the pattern of the two screw holes, a Gibson "Trapeze" was installed. This has since been removed and the original sideways vibrola was reinstalled. -Non-original Grover Patent Pending tuners. The original tuner holes were enlarged to fit the Grovers.
Case Details: Original Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage ES-355 is in good cosmetic condition with moderate wear throughout. The finish displays moderate checking, dings, dents, and scratches. With time, the the cherry finish has dulled.
Serial Number: 51365
Tech Notes: This ES-355 plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The neck is straight and the frets are tall and with minor wear. It is being dated dated to 1962 based on the serial number and visible pot code on the bridge volume pot.
