Ampeg | Venture Series Amplifiers & Cabinets
Wherever Your Music Takes You Next, Take Ampeg’s New Powerful, Lightweight, Roadworthy Venture Series Amps!
Continuing a tradition of innovation that goes all the way back to the dawn of the electric bass, the new Ampeg Venture Series amplifiers and cabinets deliver the modern style and features sought by contemporary bassists.
Powerful, Portable, Lightweight, Roadworthy
Among the three amplifier heads in the series, the Venture V12 is the largest and most powerful, delivering up to 1200 watts from its Class D power section, which is more than enough power to drive any of the Venture Series speaker cabinets, or practically any other cab bassists may encounter!
Even for the highest-wattage bass amp in the bunch, just like the new Venture Series V3 and V7, the Venture V12 was built to be powerful, yet, portable—in addition lightweight, yet, roadworthy—and, as such, the V12 fits into a gig bag, or the optional Venture carrying bag, making it an ideal head for traveling bassists!
With their easy-to-use and intuitive controls, Venture Series amplifiers offer an extensive array of tone-shaping tools that include 3-band EQ with sweepable mids, “Ultra Hi” and 3-way “Ultra Lo” switches, and Ampeg’s Super Grit Technology (SGT) Overdrive circuit, featuring both SVT and B15 voicings. (The V7 and V12 amplifiers also include a highly musical variable compressor.)
The new Venture amp heads also come with an onboard effects loop, an XLR direct output, an aux input, and a headphones output to enhance connectivity. With the exception of the Class D power amplification section, all circuitry on the Ampeg Venture Series amps is entirely analog.
Venture Series Cabinets
Available in the most popular configurations, the stylish new Venture Series cabinets—including the VB-112, VB-115, VB-210, VB-212, and VB-410 cabinets—are ruggedly constructed and covered in carbon fiber-style Tolex, so they’ll hold up gig after gig.
And, yet, loaded with lightweight custom-voiced Lavoce neodymium woofers and high-frequency drivers, Ampeg Ventures series cabinets offer gigging bassists some of the lightest enclosures currently available!
