Martin Guitars | New Acoustics FOR 2024
From Cutting-Edge Acoustic Designs to Traditional Tones You Can Take Anywhere—There’s a Martin Model for Everyone at CME in 2024!
Marrying innovative design techniques with traditional craftsmanship, while maintaining its commitment to using sustainably sourced materials, America’s oldest guitar manufacturer has added a slew of new acoustic guitar models to its 2024 lineup—all of which are now available at CME!
In addition to the state-of-the-art, acoustically enhanced GPCE Inception Maple, Martin has added a bevy of new body shape options to its line of durable, affordable X Series instruments. Plus, designed for lightning-fast fretwork and long hours of playing, the super-comfortable SC body shape is now a member of the Standard Series!
GPCE Inception Maple—Experience a Martin Acoustic Guitar Unlike Any You’ve Ever Played Before!
With a one-of-a-kind skeletonized scalloped bracing, plus sonic channels inside the body for increased resonance and superior tone, the all-new Martin GPCE Inception Maple acoustic-electric guitar unlocks the sonic beauty of the sustainable tonewoods from which it's built—including an FSC-certified European spruce top, as well as maple and black walnut back and sides.
Using spectral analysis, during the final design phase, Martin measured the frequency response of the GPCE Inception to determine the sonic impact of its unique design features, proving that skeletonized bracing increases the guitar’s sustain. While, typically, an increase in sustain decreases the amplitude of a guitar’s frequency response (i.e., its “volume,” measured in decibels), or vice versa—the GPCE’s sonic channeling increases the amplitude, offering guitarists an altogether unique sonic experience.
Bring Your Martin X Series Acoustic Along—Wherever the Music Takes You!
Boasting the characteristic Martin guitar tone players have come to know and love, X Series guitars are designed to be both durable and affordable, well-suited for either the couch or the stage—or, even the great outdoors!
If you’re looking for a loud and projective acoustic with strong bass, the remastered X series showcases new editions of Martin’s signature Dreadnought body shape, including figured high-pressure laminate (HPL) all-mahogany and all-koa options—as well as a new 12-string! Plus, Martin has added three new options of the Grand Performance body size, which offers a projective, balanced tone with added bass, in addition to 000, 00, and 0 body sizes.
Get Super Comfortable with the Martin Standard Series SC Acoustic
Featuring an internal soundboard recurve for added bass response, the low-profile velocity satin neck barrel and patented Sure Align neck system on both the new Martin SC-28E and SC-18E acoustic models ensure they’ll always fit comfortably in hand. These new models combine SC innovations and Standard Series appointments to provide modern playability with classic looks, pairing today’s latest technology with timeless style and tone.
