Cosmetic Condition: | This vintage Fender bass is in good condition. The finish is glossy with light scratching, small finish chips, and small dings scattered throughout. The top has bare screw holes where the bridge and pickup covers had been removed, as well as two over the bridge pickup. The lower bout shows extensive finish wear along its bass side edge. The back shows some finish wear at the bevel of the bass side waist, on the edge of the upper horn, and on the lower corner of the neck joint. The headstock has what appears to be a small crack running through the G and D string tuners; this is very shallow and structurally stable and will not affect playability. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age. |
Serial Number: | 410439 |
Tech Notes: | The bass plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are wide and tall with minimal play wear. The serial number suggests a 1974 date. |
