Back for more, with a couple tweaks and a facelift… for all your RnR needs. This is hands down my favorite FET boost. Simple, crushing, and works great when stacked with other pedals.
This new version of the HYPE has been updated for 2025 to achieve a couple tone adjustments I felt the original could improve upon. There’s still a ton of output, these V2 circuits have bigger low end, a more open gain, and the obvious addition of a Volume knob. The hot grind is right in your face, and it creates a great interaction when pushing a tube head into harder overdrive. Articulation, texture, sustain… however you want to describe it, there's MORE of the good stuff you want, all packed into this little gold box.
Still hand wired, still true bypass, still built in Chicago. Now with top mounted jacks!! Grab one and kick your amp into high gear.
