Finish Details: Original finish. There are some spots on the sides and back of the body near the neck heel that have been lightly sanded.

Pickup Measurements: Fully functioning, can't get individual readings due to wiring scheme.
Hardware: Original hardware.
Modifications/Repairs: -The bridge pickup has been rewound. - There are some spots on the sides and back of the body near the neck heel that have been lightly sanded.
Case Details: The non-original Hofner style hardshell case is in good shape.
Cosmetic Condition: This bass has light wear for its age. -The body has weather checking throughout, scratches, dents, some minor finish chips/blemishes, and buckle rash. There are some spots on the sides and back of the body near the neck heel that have been lightly sanded. -The neck has scratches, dents, and some small finish chips.

Tech Notes: This 500/1 plays great with low action and light neck relief. The truss rod is adjustable. The frets have some areas of light wear. -While the serial number dates to 1964, however the pot codes and appointments (such as the blade-style pickup and headstock logo) suggest that this instrument was produced in 1968.
