Body Details: Maple body with screwed on maple back plate and single bound top. The single bound top indicates the instrument dates to around 1936.

Neck Details: Maple neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard, dot inlays, inlaid pearl "Gibson" script logo, and inlaid fret markers
Electronics: Original single coil "Charlie Christian" pickup and original wiring harness, with volume and tone controls. A non-original treble bleed circuit was installed at one point, and is included in the case. The control pots were made by Centralab, and pre-date standardized date codes.

Hardware: One of the control knobs has been replaced. The lack of a "V" point on the bridge also indicates the instrument dates to 1936.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has plenty of authentic aging present, with numerous small dings on the glossy finish, an area of wear near the treble shoulder, and various light to medium scratches. The back of the body has some heavier scratches, as does the back of the neck towards the nut.
