Body Details: | Maple back and sides with arched spruce top. Several internal braces have been reglued, and there are two small repaired cracks visible on the back of the body near the neck heel. A few sections of binding have been cut and reglued, with a non-original piece spliced in at the bottom of the treble bout. |

Cosmetic Condition: | The guitar has years of nice aging present, with heavy checking throughout the body and neck, along with an assortment of scratches, dings, and other patches of wear. The binding has been cut and reglued in several spots, and there is a non-original piece spliced in on the back of the treble bout. The back of the body has a couple repaired cracks near the neck heel, and there is some finish wear on the front from the original celluloid pickguard off-gassing. |

Tech Notes: | The guitar plays well with low action, and is currently set up with 12-53 phosphor bronze strings. The truss rod is adjustable, and the medium frets and low with minor wear present. The factory order number on the back of the headstock dates this guitar to 1939. |
