Finish Details: Original; there is wear along the crack on the back of the body from an earlier repair, but the finish does not appear to have been touched up.

Body Details: Hollow archtop body with maple back and sides and spruce top; the bass bout measures 16" wide. There is a large crack on the back of the treble bout which has been repaired with internal maple cleats. There is also a spruce cleat underneath the soundboard to stabilize a crack just below the treble soundboard. The back and sides have been reglued at the bass shoulder, and the binding has been reglued in several spots.
Neck Material: Mahogany
Fingerboard Material: Brazilian Rosewood
Neck Profile: "V" profile
Neck Thickness (IN): .99" (1st fret), 1.08" (9th fret)
Fingerboard Radius: 12.00"

Electronics: A pickguard-mounted electronics system has been added, with Johnny Smith-style pickup and volume control.
Pickup Measurements: 6.2k
Hardware: The pickguard is not original, and the D & G tuner buttons have been replaced. The tailpiece may not be original as well.
Weight: 4lbs 15oz
Modifications/Repairs: -Multiple repaired body cracks, including a large crack on the back of the treble bout -Several internal braces have been reglued -A non-original pickguard with electronics has been installed -The D & G tuner buttons have been replaced
Case Details: Hardshell case
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has noticeable wear, appropriate for its age. The front of the body has numerous scratches, dings, and other blemishes, as well as a few repaired cracks. The sides of the body have additional dings and chips, and the binding has been reglued in several spots. The back of the body has a large crack at the treble bout, which has been stabilized with internal cleats, and the finish appears to have been smoothed out to a satin. There are additional light scratches on the back. The back of the neck has worn nicely, and the peghead face has some finish hazing and light wear as well.
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action; the guitar is currently set up with 12-51 pure nickel strings with a wound G. The truss rod has somewhat limited adjustability. The frets are narrow and low with heavy wear in the first position, but the guitar plays cleanly and has been set up appropriately. There is no visible serial number or factory order number; the body shape and style, materials, peghead logo, and appointments date the guitar to the 1930s.
