Body Details: | Solid Honduran mahogany body. There is a repaired crack in the bass side cutaway that extents into the top of the body next to the neck pickup. Two cracks have been repaired that extend from the sides of neck tongue into the neck pickup cavity. There is also a series of repaired cracks near the output jack. There is a plugged hole near the upper strap button with the finish touched up in this area. Two holes have been plugged under the bridge where the bridge posts are anchored. |

Electronics: | Gibson patent stamped neck and patent sticker bridge pickups with three-position selector switch, and dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup. The pickup covers have been removed. The wiring harness is mostly original, with touched up solder joints, and replaced switch. One visible pot code dates to the 13th week of 1960 |

Hardware: | The pickguard, truss rod cover, and tenon cover are reproduction. The tuning machines have been replaced with later 60s Gibson Kluson Deluxes. The strap buttons have been replaced with strap locks. The bridge has been replaced with a later chrome patent stamped Gibson ABR-1. The remaining hardware is original. |

Cosmetic Condition: | This vintage guitar is in good condition with wear consistent with its age. The finish has faded, and is weather-checked. There are dings, dents, and finish chips throughout. The edges of the headstock are worn. The finish on the back of the neck has worn away in some areas from play. Buckle rash is present on the back of the body. There is wear on the lower edges of the body from play. The fingerboard binding has cracked in several places. The hardware has a strong patina. |
