The company is owned by both Jeremy Berman and Ilan Rubin; Berman spent over 15 years as a builder at Orange county Drum and Percussion and as a drum tech for a number of global acts, including Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Norah Jones, and more. Ilan rubin is a world renowned drummer best known for his playing with bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Angels and Airwaves, Paramore, and others. With exponential growth since the company's inception 4 years ago, Q Drum Co. is a company to look out for.
This custom Q Drums snare was purchased at the 2016 NAMM show and features a satin finish walnut/maple ply shell with a brushed brass inlay. This versatile snare's tone is dark, dry, and warm, with excellent tuning range.
