The heads are manually selectable, and the impedance is selectable -- 2, 2.6, 4, 5.3, 8, 16 ohms. The head that is not in use is put into a 200 watt dummy load of the impedance you selected.
The Two-Head Amp Switcher includes a level adjustable balanced (XLR) line out jack. This manual version does not require AC power.
The Two-Head Amp Switcher DOES NOT switch your guitar input from amp to amp. This switcher is designed for players who are already using two different amplifiers, but wish to simplify to one cabinet.
This item is hand-built to order, to ensure the best attention to detail is paid to its construction. We build them one at a time, on a table - not hundreds at a time on an assembly line. This allows us to reduce the margin for error and produce an overall higher-quality product.
