Finish Details: Body finish is original, the neck has been oversprayed
Body Material: Alder
Body Details: Solid alder body. -This appears to be a 1972 P bass body, the neck dates to 1962. Appointments such as the ground lead route under the bridge and thickness of the finish in the control cavity are consistent with an early 70's Fender bass.

Electronics: Electronics date to the early 70's and appear to be original to the body. One grey bobbin Fender pickup, master volume and tone controls. -1972 pot code dates. -Some of the solder joints on the wiring harness have been touched up.

Hardware: -Thumb rest, pickup cover, and bridge cover are missing. -Nut is not original. -The serial number located on the neck plate dates to 1962 which suggests that the neck plate is original to the neck.
Modifications/Repairs: -Body and neck appear to not be original to each other. -The neck has been oversprayed and refretted. -Some of the solder joints on the wiring harness have been touched up. -Thumb rest, pickup cover, and bridge cover are missing. -Nut is not original.
Case Details: Original hardshell case is structurally secure with some cosmetic wear.
Cosmetic Condition: This bass has heavy cosmetic wear. -The body has scratches, dents, finish chips, heavy finish checking, heavy buckle rash, areas of worn finish, and some blemishes. -The neck has been oversprayed and shows scratches, dents, finish wear, finish chips, light checking, and some finish blemishes.
Tech Notes: This bass plays well with low action and light neck relief. The truss rod is adjustable. The frets show heavy play wear but are still playing well. The electronics and body appointments date this body to the early 70s (likely 1972), the neck heel stamp dates the neck to 1962.
