Electronics: Original patent stamped humbuckers with a three-position switch, two volume pots, and two tone pots. The pickup covers have been removed and some solder joints have been touched up. The tone pot codes date to 1979 and the volume pot codes date to 1980.

Hardware: Original Gibson tuners, bridge, and tail-piece. The nut and pickguard and not original.

Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in good cosmetic condition with moderate play wear. There are dings, dents, and scratches throughout the body and neck. The finish on the back of the neck has worn away from play wear.

Tech Notes: This Les Paul plays well with low action. The frets are tall and show light play wear. It has been properly setup and intonated in standard tuning. Although the pot codes date to 1979 and 1980, the guitar is being dated to 1981 based of the serial number. Varying pot code dates are consistent with Gibson guitars of this era.
