Cosmetic Condition: | Guitar is in good condition with moderate wear. There are many small dings, dents, scratches, and age related finish blemishes throughout. The hardware has a light patina. The headstock veneer has some inconsistent finish luster and hazing, it is likely this portion of the finish was partially polished with compound. The binding is overall in very good shape, and does not exhibit the usual "binding rot" associated with Gretsch guitars of this age. |

Tech Notes: | Guitar is currently set up with 11-52 gauge strings and has slight back-bow in the bass side compared to the treble side with the truss rod loosened. It plays well with optimal action, lighter strings are not ideal for this instrument. Frets are narrow, flat, and low, showing moderate wear. Serial number and pot codes date this piece to 1963. |
