Cosmetic Condition: | The guitar shows mild cosmetic wear, expected for its age. The finish has slight hazing and checking, along with light scratches and other small blemishes. The pickguard had shrunk and curled away from the body, and has been flatted and reglued; some pieces of the material have pulled away from the top layer. The back of the neck has a few small dings, and the fretboard has a few small chips from a prior refret. |
Serial Number: | 246768 |
Tech Notes: | The guitar plays well with low action, and is currently strung with 12-53 phosphor bronze strings. The neck is very straight and sets up well with 12 gauge strings; because the neck has a non-adjustable reinforcement rod, lighter gauge strings would not be recommended. The frets show light wear with some small divots up to the fifth fret. The serial number dates the guitar to 1969. |
