Description

Our new bridge for Offset guitars to get that super-hip rubber bridge vibe that started over at Old Style Guitar Shop in LA. Sounds nice and thud-tastic and you can dial the intonation in pretty well this way, which is a nice bonus compared with having a straight rubber bridge. Bridges will ship within one week of ordering.

You'll want to use flatwound strings with a wound 3rd for best response and better “thunk”, especially in lowered baritone tunings which many people use on rubber-bridged guitars. The saddle on ours is made from industrial rubber with high durability and corrosion resistance so it should last a long time with flatwound strings.

Offset Version: Bridge post spacing is 2 7/8” (73.15mm), center to center. It drops right in on the guitars we tested, including recent USA, vintage and Squier Jazzmasters/Jaguars. It installs the same way as a normal bridge of this type. To be safe, please measure your bridge before ordering to make sure this will be a good fit for your guitar.

Disclaimer Note: It is important to double-check the ground wire placement in your guitar before installing a rubber bridge. Some Jaguar/Jazzmaster-style guitars will have a ground wire underneath the tremolo plate; if you don't see a ground wire there, your guitar likely grounds to the treble side bridge thimble. If this is the case, consult with a qualified technician to ensure your strings will be grounded and hum-free.
