The back of the body was previously oversprayed as part of a heel repair, and the overspray has darkened with age. Part of the overspray was sanded away during a subsequent repair, and there are some white finish touchups around the repaired neck heel. There is nice checking present on the finish, and the back of the neck is smooth with a few chips, and the headstock is nicely worn. |
Serial Number: | 182844 |
Tech Notes: | The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and the truss rod has good adjustability. The narrow frets are tall with no wear, as they are new. The serial number and construction dates the guitar to 1964. |
