Finish Details: Original finish. The guitar shows finish wear on the fingerboard, edges of the body, and on the back of the body. There is checking throughout.
Body Material: Ash
Neck Material: Maple
Neck Profile: Soft "V" Shape
Neck Thickness (IN): 1st. Fret: .86" & 12th. Fret: .98"
Fingerboard Radius: 7.25"
Nut Width: 1-5/8"

Electronics: All electronics are original. The bridge pickup has been rewound. The guitar has its original wiring scheme with blend control instead of tone control. In the bridge position, rolling back the blend pot adds in the neck pickup. In the middle position, the blend pot is bypassed and signal only comes from the neck pickup. In the forward position, signal comes from the neck pickup as well but with a preset "deep" sound. This produces a sound similar to a rolled back tone pot.
Pickup Measurements: Bridge: 7.5k Neck: 7.1k
Hardware: Original tuners, string tree, nut, pickguard, bridge, bridge cover, and saddles. The electronics cavity screws have been replaced with Phillips head screws. In addition to the electronics cavity screws, the neck screws securing the neck to the body have also been replaced with Phillips head screws.
Weight: 7lbs 5oz
Modifications/Repairs: -Bridge pickup has been re-wound. -Non-original phillips head electronics cavity screws. -Non-original phillips head neck screws.
Case Details: Original Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Telecaster is in good cosmetic condition for it's age. There is finish wear on the fingerboard as well as idillic checking throughout the entirety of the guitar. There is also light finish wear in spots along the edge of the body as well as on the back of the body.
Serial Number: #5112
Tech Notes: This Telecaster plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The original frets are thin and show moderate wear. It is being dated to 1952 based on the serial number and pencil dates. The neck pencil date is "TG 5-21-52". The body pencil date is "DAVIS 5-21-52".
