Finish Details: Original finish on the body. The back of the neck has been oversprayed.
Body Material: Maple
Body Details: Semi-hollow body with laminated maple/poplar/maple back, sides, and top, and center block running the full length of the body. There is a repaired crack in the top running along the sides of both pickups.

Neck Details: Set-in mahogany neck with bound rosewood fretboard, block inlays, headstock volute, and headstock truss rod adjustment. There is a repaired headstock crack visible on the back. The neck has been refretted and the fingerboard planed to a flatter 16" radius. The nut has been shimmed, and there are filled holes on the back of the headstock from alternate tuners.
Electronics: Original Gibson patent number stick pickups, with embossed covers. The wiring harness has been replaced; controls include 3-way toggle switch and volume/tone controls for both pickups. the non-original pot codes date to 1995.
Pickup Measurements: 7.9k (neck), 7.7k (bridge)
Hardware: The tuners as well as a few screws have been replaced. The pickguard and bracket are missing.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has nice aging present, with light checking and patches of haze on the body. There are repaired cracks visible on either side of the neck pickup, along with moderate buckle rash on the back. The sides of the body have heavier checking and finish chipping. The back of the neck is glossy with a few small dents; wear on the original finish is visible under the overspray. There is a repaired headstock crack visible on the back, and the headstock face has checking and wear.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The wide frets are tall with light play wear present. The serial number and construction dates the guitar to 1973.
