| Cosmetic Condition: | The guitar has aged nicely; the finish is glossy with attractive checking, and a few small dings. There is a patch of wear on the back of the body that goes through to wood, along with a few small dings along the sides of the neck. The back of the headstock has a few open screw holes along with an imprint of the original tuners. |

| Tech Notes: | The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is currently set up with 10s. The truss rod is adjustable, and the frets are wide and low with minor wear. The serial number and three-piece neck construction dates the guitar to 1970. Because this guitar has no volute and an orange label, it was likely built very late in 1969. For these reasons we are calling iyt a 96/70 transitional model. |
