Hardware: | The tuners, nut, pick guard, bridge, saddle and bridge pins have all been replaced. There are two metal strap buttons drilled into the neck heel. |
Modifications/Repairs: | -The guitar has been refretted and the neck has been reset. -The guitar originally had an adjustable bridge. This has been replaced with a bone saddle bridge. -There are several repaired cracks in the top with cleats installed inside the body. There is one large cleat glued onto the bridge plate (see internal photos). -The large ladder brace usually present in this model for this era has been removed (a very common mod that makes the guitar sound better). -A passive transducer pickup has been installed on the bridge plate inside the body. The endpin was drilled out and replaced with an endpin output jack. -The tuners, nut, pick guard, bridge, saddle and bridge pins have all been replaced. -The tuner holes have been reamed out to accommodate Grovers. |

Cosmetic Condition: | The guitar has moderate play wear. The finish is glossy with checking and light scuffs and scratches throughout. There is some light pick wear around the sound hole and forearm wear on the bass side of the lower bout. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash. The orange label inside the sound hole is very faded (see pictures). |

Tech Notes: | -The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are tall with minimal play wear. -The serial number dates to 1967. It originally had Kluson tuners which also suggests the guitar was built in 1967. |
