Body Material: Mahogany
Body Details: Two piece mahogany back, mahogany sides, and two piece mahogany top. There are a couple repaired body cracks, including one on the back of the bass shoulder and one between the pickguard and the bridge. Some braces have been reglued as well.

Hardware: The tuners, saddle, and bridge pins have been replaced. The bridge has been removed and reglued.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Martin guitar has aged nicely and is in clean condition for its age. The glossy body finish has various light scratches, knocks, and dings, including some heavier scratches on the back of the body. There is a repaired crack on the back of the bass shoulder, as well as one between the pickguard and bridge. The back of the neck is glossy and smooth with only a few small dents, and there are open screw holes on the back of the headstock from previously installed tuners.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and the narrow frets are low with minimal play wear. The serial number dates the guitar to 1949.
