Finish Details: Original finish with small area of touch near the neck heel.
Body Material: Mahogany
Body Details: Solid Honduran mahogany body. There are some plugged holes on the back of the body near the neck heel from a previous repair. There is also a plugged hole on the bass side horn.

Neck Details: One-piece Honduran mahogany neck with unbound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, original frets, and original nut. The heel has been repaired.
Electronics: The pickups have been replaced with a patent stamped Gibson humbucker in the neck position, and a Dimarzio PAF in the bridge. Three-position selector switch with volume and tone controls for each pickup. The wiring harness is original with touched up solder joints. One pot code dates to 1962.
Pickup Measurements: Neck 7.55K, Bridge 7.92K
Hardware: One of the tuner bushings has been replaced. All other hardware is original.

Modifications/Repairs: The neck heel has been repaired, there are several plugged holes in the body, the pickups have been replaced, one tuner bushing is not original, and there is finish touch up over the plugged holes.
Case Details: Original hardshell case.
Cosmetic Condition: This bass is in good condition with light wear for its age. The finish is vibrant and glossy, with areas of hazing, scratches, dents, and dings throughout. There is a notable finish chip in the back of the neck, as well as some wear along the edges of the fingerboard.

Tech Notes: The bass plays well with optimal action and neck relief. The frets are wide and low, with moderate wear in the first position. One original pot dates to 1962, and the serial number dates to 1964.
