Body Details: Laminated maple back, sides, and top. BB King has signed the top on the lower bass bout.

Electronics: Original pickup with volume and tone controls. Both pots are original, as well as the jack, but the tone capacitor has been replaced. One visible pot code dates to 1959.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage guitar is in good condition with wear consistent with its age. The finish is weather-checked and worn. There are dings, dents, scratches, finish chips, and areas of wear throughout. The edges of the headstock face have worn. Most of the finish has flaked away from the headstock inlay. The original pieces of hardware have a present patina.
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide, flat, and low, with minor wear. Documentation to verify BB King's signature is included in the case. One visible pot code dates to 1959.
