Finish Details: The back of the headstock has been refinished with black to conceal the original tuner holes. The remainder of the body and neck finish is original.

Body Details: Solid two piece maple body. The pickup routes have been modified to fit non-original humbuckers.

Neck Details: Set-in three piece maple neck with unbound rosewood fretboard, dot inlays, and headstock volute. The truss rod has been replaced (the fingerboard was removed and reglued), and is now a 4mm hex adjustment at the headstock. The back of the headstock was also refinished with black to conceal the original tuner mounting holes. There is a masked-off area to keep the serial number and model number visible.
Electronics: The guitar has been fully rewired with modern Gibson pickups (unmarked Gibson USA in the neck, and '57 Classic in the bridge), 3-way toggle switch, neck and bridge volume controls, and master tone control. The neck volume control and tone control are original pots, with 1976 date codes. The original 6 position rotary switch is included.

Hardware: The tuners, knobs, and strap buttons have all been replaced.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has nice aging present, with finish checking, scratches, dings, and other small blemishes present. The plastic pieces have cracked around their screw holes, but are secure. The back and sides of the body have additional dings and wear. There is some minor wear along the fingerboard seam from the truss rod replacement.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is currently set up with 10s. The truss rod is adjustable. The frets are wide and low with minor wear present. The pot codes, construction style, and serial number date the guitar to 1976.
