Description

This product is in amazing, like new condition showing only small signs of wear from use as a demo model on our showroom floor.

This Limited J-200 Parlor Custom was designed by and built exclusively for Japanese retailers, until now. Built exclusively for CME, this wild take on the legendary J-200 packs the big sound of the Super Jumbo into a small, parlor-sized package. It’s J-165 body is constructed of flame maple back and sides with a sitka spruce top for natural, powerful, and balanced sound, and the 19-fret, two-piece maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with graduated mother-of-pearl crown inlays and the classic feel of a rounded profile.

About Gibson Montana:
Luthier Orville Gibson founded the Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Mfg. Co. Ltd. in Kalamazoo, MI in 1902. Its original aim was to make mandolins and mandolin-family instruments. Over the last 100-plus years, Gibson Brands, Inc., as it is now known, has since evolved into the world’s premier manufacturer of semi-hollow and hollow body electric guitars, as well as a celebrated portfolio of innovative solid-body and acoustic models.

“Some people hear their own inner voices with great clearness. And they live by what they hear. Such people become crazy... or they become legend.” So wrote Montana author Jim Harrison, perhaps about the master luthiers of Gibson Montana, which produces all of Gibson’s acoustic guitars.
