Body Details: Solid mahogany body.
Neck Material: Mahogany
Fingerboard Material: Brazilian Rosewood
Neck Profile: medium/large "C"
Neck Thickness (IN): 1st- .83" 12th- 1.01"
Fingerboard Radius: 12.00"
Nut Width: 1-11/16"
Neck Details: One piece mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood board.
Electronics: Original p90 pickups and wiring harness. The pots date to 1965.
Pickup Measurements: neck 9.3k ohms bridge 8.5k ohms
Hardware: Original hardware except for replaced nut, tuner bushings and wrap around bridge. The arm and block for the tremolo unit are missing.
Modifications/Repairs: -The guitar has been refretted and a bone nut has been installed. -A tone pros wrap around bridge has been installed. The arm and block for the tremolo unit are missing. -There is a crack repair along the treble tuners on the headstock that has not been touched up. There are two wood dowels in the treble side of the headstock to reinforce the repair. -The tuner holes were reamed out for Grovers at some point, but the original tuners have been reinstalled with conversion bushings. -The guitar has a Blackberry Smoke sticker on the back and has been signed by the members of the band.
Case Details: Vintage Gibson hard shell case with yellow interior. The handle is missing.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has heavy play wear. The finish is faded and has considerable checking throughout. There is heavy wear around the edges of the body and head stock. The back of the body has heavy buckle rash. The hardware is nicely tarnished. There is a crack repair along the treble tuners on the headstock that has not been touched up. There are two wood dowels in the treble side of the headstock to reinforce the repair. The guitar has a Blackberry Smoke sticker on the back and has been signed by the members of the band.
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide and tall with minimal play wear. Because of the heavy checking and the crack repair on the headstock. The serial number is illegible, especially the first digit. The guitar is dated to 1965 via pot codes.
