Electronics: | Bartolini BB4P active humbuckers have been installed. The original pots and preamp have been preserved with the pickup install. The volume pot has a 1979 code. Controls include a master volume pot, 2-band eq, 3-way pickup selector, and active boost switch. Because of the slanted pickup mount, the neck pickup does not pick up the E and G strings as well as the A and D strings. The bridge pickup sounds full and when both pickups are selected this issue is nearly undetectable. This instrument would benefit from a different neck pickup (the original would be ideal). |

Cosmetic Condition: | This bass has moderate play wear. The headstock has a few dings around the top edge. The finish has light checking, scratches, dings, and wear throughout. |
Serial Number: | 80782613 |
Tech Notes: | Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The truss rod is adjustable. The frets are tall and show only minor signs of play wear. The serial number dates to 1982. Currently set up with 45-105 gauge black roundwound strings. |
