Neck Details: Two piece maple neck with bound Brazilian rosewood board and block inlays.
Electronics: Original pickups and wiring with three-way pickup selector, master volume, master tone and two individual pickup volumes. The ground wire from the tail piece has been replaced.
Pickup Measurements: neck 9.6k ohms bridge 10.3k ohms
Hardware: Original except for replaced tuners, pick guard and nut.
Modifications/Repairs: -The tuners and nut have been replaced. -There is a metal plate added to the side to reinforce the output jack. -The bridge thumb wheels have been replaced. -The heel cap is missing. -The pick guard has been replaced. -The ground wire from the tail piece has been replaced.
Case Details: Original hard shell case. The serial number date to 1956. The horse shoe on the headstock and the plain block inlays are also consistent with 1956.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has light play wear for its age. There is considerable play wear on the neck. Some finish is worn off of the back of the neck. The heel cap in missing from the back of the neck. The metal hardware is nicely tarnished with age.
