Body Details: Hollow maple body with painted-on F-holes and back pad. Some patches of binding along the body have deteriorated and chipped away.

Neck Details: Set-in two piece maple neck with walnut center strip, bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard, thumbnail inlays, and zero fret. The nut has been replaced.
Electronics: Original Gretsch Filter'tron pickups and electronics, with 3-way pickup selector switch, 3-position tone switch, mute switch, master volume control, and volume controls for each pickup. The pot codes are obscured by solder.
Pickup Measurements: 4.2k (neck), 4.2k (bridge)
Hardware: Original; the nut has been replaced, and the mute foam has deteriorated.
Modifications/Repairs: The nut has been replaced.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows wear appropriate for its age; the binding has cracked in multiple places and fallen away in some. The finish is glossy with light scratches, and the hardware has a nice patina from age. There is some light checking on the headstock face as well.
