| Body Details: | Chambered mahogany body with carved maple cap. The body has been modified for humbuckers, and holes for a stop tailpiece and Tuneomatic bridge were drilled. The stop tailpiece holes have been plugged and a Bigsby has been added. There are two repaired cracks in the body at the neck joint; there is also some wood filler present along the sides of the heel joint. |

The neck has been refretted; the inlays were removed as part of the refret, and there is a small singe mark on the seventh fret inlay. The tuners have been replaced, and the nut has been shimmed. There are repaired cracks at the neck joint, along with some wood filler and overspray at the heel. These repairs are stable and smooth. |
| Electronics: | The pickups have been replaced with 1980s Seymour Duncan pickups, with a JNJ and JMBJ labeled Jazz neck and bridge pickups. The wiring harness is otherwise original, with 3-way toggle switch, master volume and tone controls, and independent neck and bridge volume controls. The pot codes date to 1956. |

| Cosmetic Condition: | The guitar has aged nicely, with expected cosmetic wear over time. The finish has light patches of hazing, attractive checking, and other small blemishes including light dings and chips. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash, including some wear through the finish to wood. There are repaired cracks in the body at the neck bolt and along the treble side of the neck pocket. There is wood filler along the treble side of the neck joint, as well as under the tongue on the treble side. |
