Description
America’s oldest acoustic guitar manufacturer started turning out high-quality ukuleles in the 1910s, which makes Martin the world’s oldest surviving ukulele builder!
Now, almost a century since the brand’s first tenor ukuleles rolled off the production line in 1929, the Martin TKE Uke is its latest addition to its tenor-sized lineup, boasting a gloss body and satin neck, plus top, back, and sides crafted of solid koa—a wood native to Hawaii and a favorite of island players.
The Martin TKE Uke also features an East Indian rosewood bridge and fingerboard, select hardwood neck, applied dovetail neck joint, and nickel open gear tuners, plus electronics developed in collaboration with Mi-Si, providing 16 hours of play on a 60-second charge, so you plug in and play at any volume, any time!
